OUR WORSHIP
The Holy Eucharist is the principal act of
worship on Sunday. It is the celebration instituted by Christ at
the Last Supper in which we recall his life, death and
resurrection, as well as anticipation of his coming again. The
word Eucharist comes from the Greek word meaning
"Thanksgiving".
Visitors sometimes wonder what to do during services when they
visit churches. At Calvary Church, we invite you to join in the
prayers, hymns and celebration of our Lord's resurrection with
the knowledge that there is no "right" posture or
gesture of worship.
Join with us, and know that we welcome people of all ages
and
traditions.
